Harrow wrap it up at Bridge Park Tournament

22nd May 2016

A fantastic result for Harrow but an even greater result for Bridge Park Bears running their first ever Korfball Tournament in Brent.

Thank you and welll done.

Well done to all our U11 korfers who all played incredibly well in the tournament today.

A special thanks to the parents who drove the korfers there and home again through nightmarish Wembley traffic!

We had 6 teams and played mini-korf where there are only 4 players to a team and no half-way line so players can travel all over the court and the court is much smaller and the game is much faster.

The results were:- 85 goals scored in 15 games by 37 children.

1st place : HARROW ORANGE - won all their games: 5-0, 3-1, 6-1, 6-0, 4-2

2nd place: OUR LADY OF LOURDES - won 3 games: 4-3, 1-3, 1-3, 12-0, 3-1

3rd place: RUISLIP TIGERS  - won 3 games: 0-5, 3-4, 6-1, 6-0, 3-0

4th place: HARROW BLUE - won 3 games: 1-6, 1-6, 3-1, 3-2, 5-1

5th place: ST. JOSEPHS - won 1 game: 0-6, 0-6, 0-12, 2-3, 3-0

6th place: BRIDGE BEARS - 0-3, 2-4, 1-3, 1-5, 0-3

Congratulations again to everyone and thanks again to parents for your constant support.

Our next exciting tournament is a summery outdoor family fun day out in Cheam on 5th June...details to follow shortly!

All the best for a peaceful Sunday evening and good luck for the coming week.
