This bank holiday Monday Harrow Korfball organised a social distancing picnic in honour of the 21st Birthday of the Jack Petchey Foundation.
After months of lockdown this was the first opportunity for many of us to re-connect in person in a safe environment. Needless to say that we had a massive turnout from the club, where young and old enjoyed a nibble, drink and above all a good catch-up.
Harrow Vultrix used this opportunity as well to announce the June 2020 Jack Petchey award. An Award recognizing outstanding young people who have gone above and beyond to achieve – perhaps when others thought they might fail.
Winners were Meera & Maya who had a large contribution to the successful 2019/2020 season and both seen an tremendous individual growth.
